Who I help:

I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, eating disorders or body image concerns, and trauma.

My clients often come to therapy grappling with uncertainty, high stress, or loneliness in their lives. Sometimes they are feeling intense emotions, or behaving in ways that are confusing and frustrating for them. They may be feeling disconnected from other people, or feeling overly worried about how others perceive them. They are seeking more connection, peace and balance in their day-to-day.

How I help:

My practice is built on the belief that everyone already has within them the resources to heal, grow, and thrive. I use evidence-based interventions – primarily a therapy called Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as AEDP, and somatic approaches – to help people tap into that innate wisdom. With my guidance, clients heal themselves.

During my 14 year career, I’ve also trained in CBT, CBTi, DBT, ERP and trauma-processing therapies such as CPT and PE. The tools and practical strategies of these therapies are woven into my approach today, so that I can individualize care to meet the needs of the person in front of me.

I bring warmth, compassion, and a collaborative energy to this work, partnering with my clients to create space for healing, growth, and self-actualization.

What my clients say about working with me:

Clients would tell you that I’m warm, down-to-earth, and show up genuinely in our work. They feel truly understood, and comfortable to be themselves… which sometimes surprises them, given how daunting it can be to engage in therapy or coaching.

I also hear from clients that they appreciate how we share a laugh at times, and how I can offer them a surprising range of tools during moments of uncertainty, pain, and discomfort. Mostly, my clients appreciate our authentic connection and the healing that comes with it.

Off the clock:

I’m in a season of life where my family is my primary hobby, alongside meditating and reading a really amazing fiction book about twice a year.

Pretty much any creative project also fills my cup, from hands-on mediums to writing to home décor. Being in nature grounds me and I’m working on spending more time there (less time on screens!).
