Job Summary

Sapientia Wellness Services is a psychotherapy and coaching teaching practice on the Emerald Coast of Florida, and online across Massachusetts, Florida, and the United States.

We are actively looking to hire a licensed therapist/counselor or coach with a desire to grow with us. We are expanding our practice that provides wellness services (psychotherapy and/or coaching) online and/or in-person.

As a therapist, counselor or coach of our group practice, you will be seeing teen and/or adult clients dealing with eating disorders, body image concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and more.

This position must be staffed by an individual who is warm, compassionate, and works well with a team. The ideal candidate for this role is well-versed in eating disorder care, trauma-informed practices and ideally have training (or desire for training) in one or more of the following: Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), AEDP, somatic therapies, etc.

Time Expectations

Part-Time: Available to hold at least 10-12 client sessions per week, scheduling around 12-14 to account for no-shows.

Full-Time: Available to hold at least 20 client sessions per week, scheduling around 25 to account for no-shows

Required Education & Experience

  • Master’s or Doctorate’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

  • Active State of Florida or Massachusetts pre-license or license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC, or Clinical Psychologist)

  • Experience as a therapist/counselor or related field

  • Clinical experience with individual therapy for adolescents and adults, familiar with clinical implications of; eating disorders and body image, trauma, anxiety and depression

  • Training or interest in IFS, Somatic Experiencing (SE), AEDP and/or EMDR preferred
